Unfortunately, a huge hotel complex with 350 beds was built in the small town. The little fishing village simply can't handle this influx of tourists. The infrastructure isn't designed for it. This was our sixth and final stay in Postira.

It's a shame that the hotel doesn't offer dinner, because in the case of half board you have to go to another hotel for dinner, which isn't far, but the food wasn't exactly the best this year.

The breakfasts were quite rich, but very monotonous (the cooked food was the same all week). The dinners at the LIPA hotel had three menus every day, but they were repeated during the week. When choosing desserts, we only had a choice on the first few days, and then only one dessert was available. There was also a modest offer of salads (3-4 types, salad dressing was only available a few times). Otherwise, the food was delicious, and the service staff was very friendly. Considering that this is a 4-star hotel, we expected a larger offer, a variety of food.

Unfortunately, due to poor tourism management, especially in the evenings with very loud live music in the restaurants, the charm of this dreamy and quiet place is slowly being displaced.

Small bathroom, small balcony. Unfortunately, we weren't told at reception that we could use the pool of the neighboring hotel. Due to its location right by the harbor, it's not always quiet.

It's a shame that there was no dinner at the hotel this year, although there are no comments on the food or anything about the Lipa restaurant, where we went for dinner. However, I would suggest that the Slovenian Television program, which was always in function until this year, be reinstated.

I'm planning to stay at this hotel again in August, but I'm only bothered by the fact that they don't offer half-board this year.
