The hotel has an excellent location, friendly and very helpful staff, a varied buffet with a good selection, a lovely terrace, a clean beach with sun loungers, and a very good arrangement of balconies, as almost every balcony offers at least a partial sea view. There were streaks on the furniture and in the closets, beetles and other vermin in the drawers, and we lived out of our suitcases for a week. There were no blinds, no shower curtains, no shower holder (it was broken), clogged drains, and the bathtubs were very old and consequently rough and unappealingly discolored. The faucets were smeared. The cleaning lady simply shrugged and declared everything to be in order. The furniture was very old and mismatched. One room couldn't be locked. A twin room only had one armchair. The televisions were small and old and no longer functioned properly (volume, etc.). Lamps were broken, and some rooms had no light at all. The caretaker was truly overwhelmed at the beginning of our vacation trying to rectify the various problems. We learned from this experience how clean and comfortable our home is and appreciate it even more.
A hotel that was certainly one of the most beautiful in the 1960s, but unfortunately, it hasn't undergone any significant investment or renovation since then. The staff is very attentive to the guests. If you're only there to sleep and have no expectations, then this hotel is certainly suitable, especially since the price is absolutely reasonable. However, this also means there are a lot of guests from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Bosnia, and Macedonia, who weren't exactly popular with the waitstaff.
