• Otherwise a very overpriced stay (family of 3: almost €1200 for one week), the apartments and surroundings are quite run down and in need of renovation, partly also for safety reasons (holes in the pavements, risk of sprains and broken legs). They were probably last renovated and furnished about 10-15 years ago.
• The sofa and thus the living room with the kitchen smelled strongly of urine, probably a guest with a dog had been there before us. The matter was sorted out after several interventions over three days. We did not receive an apology or compensation.
• The interior of the apartment needs renovation and replacement. The clothes rack is useless for white laundry due to rust. The liquid soap dispenser was missing (empty rack). The TV is a museum piece, 10-15 years old, very poor picture. The shower cubicle is impractical, as there is a large gap between the glass partition and the bathtub and the bathroom is completely wet after a shower.
• The towels we received at the pool were smelly and poorly washed.
• We waited for more than an hour for the e-car.
• Well-equipped fitness studio in the SPA, the only thing missing was martial arts equipment, unfortunately it was closed at 8:45 PM.
• Staff at the reception desk were often unfriendly and condescending towards guests, compliments to the "lower" workers, mostly from Bosnia and a few teenagers from Croatia. The superior staff behaved noticeably condescendingly and very rudely towards them. These workers live in extremely poor conditions at the resort during the season and are poorly paid, especially considering the resort's high prices (breakfast for one person €22).

Novi Vinodolski is über overpriced and is all together quite run down, at times even dangerous... I really wouldn't recommend it... :-(

The buildings are not maintained, some are already falling into disrepair.

If you want half board in a restaurant, it is way, way too expensive, the price of an apartment is also very high, and the sun loungers by the pool are often occupied.
