| Given the really high price (for the apartment), I'm simply disappointed with the vacation. I could have gotten this level of service elsewhere for half the price. A few things that bothered us: -cleanliness - the cleanliness of the apartment was disastrous, especially considering that these apartments are supposed to be rented out or advertised as a slightly higher level. The floor in the apartment was dirty, there was chewing gum stuck to the window frame, the kitchen was dirty, there was dirt on the balcony floor. This matter really bothered me on the first day. The equipment in the apartment is getting old, which wouldn't even bother me if the price was appropriate. -WIFI - we got a room in the 5th row of these apartments. We couldn't use the wifi (which we paid for in the room price) because the signal didn't reach our house. So we used our mobile data for the whole 9 days. Again - for the level of service advertised, this shouldn't happen. -there was no suitable coffee pot in the kitchen. We could only drink coffee at the bar. -staff at the Zanzibar pool bar - we waited somewhere between 20-30 minutes for the coffee we wanted at the pool bar. Completely disorganized service, we didn't get the bill (despite it not being overly crowded) for 15 minutes. As mentioned, this year we wanted to treat ourselves to a higher-end vacation, so we were willing to pay more - in the end we found that the level was exactly the same or even lower than somewhere where we would have paid half the price. |
